How DropShop works
A plain-language walkthrough of the whole pipeline: connections, AI listings, webhooks, sync jobs and fulfillment.
Step 1
Connect a supplier
Start with CJdropshipping — more suppliers plug into the same adapter.
Step 2
AI writes the listing
Titles, descriptions, tags and pricing suggestions from supplier data.
Step 3
Publish to Shopify
You approve, we create the product with variants, images and stock.
Step 4
Prices stay in sync
Supplier cost and inventory changes flow into your store hourly.
Step 5
Orders arrive instantly
A signed Shopify webhook drops every new order into your queue.
Step 6
Supplier ships direct
Approve fulfillment, or let auto-fulfillment submit and pay for you.
Step 7
Tracking goes back
Tracking numbers return to Shopify so customers get notified.
What runs in the background
Shopify order webhook — every order is HMAC-verified, rate limited, de-duplicated and logged before it reaches your queue.
Hourly sync job — pulls supplier cost and stock, updates Shopify price and inventory, and writes a sync log you can audit.
Credential vault — Shopify tokens and supplier API keys live in a service-role-only table, never readable by the browser.
Sourcing agent — an AI assistant with tools that can search suppliers and build import drafts for you.
